FRIED EGG
FRIED EGG is a playful take on the everyday. Reduced to form, color, and surface. Stylized in shades of blue, the seemingly ordinary transforms into an iconic Pop Art motif. The egg, as a symbol of origin, warmth, and domestic poetry, is reimagined with a cool aesthetic. Humorous, minimalist, and unexpectedly profound. FRIED EGG is part of the Blue in a Square art series featuring 300+ artworks.
The origin of life.
The egg symbolizes the origin of life in a simple yet ingenious way. In its aesthetics, its design, and its makeup, it is hard to surpass. Evolution has not managed to do it simpler or better in millions of years. The egg is a work of natural art, poised on the edge of fragility. Nothing can be taken away and nothing needs to be added. It is a visual language that has prevailed.
And every egg carries the idea of life within it. Just as every drop carries the idea of the ocean. It is overwhelming how much nature can create with so little. Just as every note contains the idea of music. For me, the egg is a star in all its properties. A true star. A role model. A real role model. Remove everything that is not egg. I carry this idea into my art as well. That is why I have simplified everything as far as possible. The square as the only format, so I never have to spend a thought on format. Blue as the only color. This blue varies only in its percentage density, yet it remains the same blue. This way I do not spend energy on choosing colors.
These parameters of my art are my “egg.” They demand discipline to follow the natural laws of one’s own art. But it is worth it. As with the egg, it is about what develops inside. The same is true for my art. What hatches from the square and is blue?

Keynography Art
Keynography Art is a new digital art form founded by Christof Hintze, with no AI being used or applied, created in Apple Keynote—originally a presentation program. Through the precise interplay of complex stencils, masks, lines, and many layers and shadows, shapes, depth, and spatial effects are built up—like a collage, but entirely digital. The result feels like a graphic relief: clean, detailed, and surprisingly three-dimensional, even though it is made from simple Keynote elements. More about it in my bio…
