ESPRESSO
ESPRESSO presents the iconic silhouette of the classic Bialetti pot. A symbol of Italian coffee culture. Rendered in cool shades of blue and layered multiple times, it creates a visual play of form, light, and memory. The everyday object becomes a stylized homage to pleasure, ritual, and design. Minimalist yet powerful. ESPRESSO is part of the art series Blue in a Square consisting of 250+ artworks.
Every time Leaves Classics Untouched.
Progress never stops. One innovation chases the next; product life cycles rise and fall. Yet a true classic endures, sometimes front and center, sometimes quiet, but never gone and keeps enjoying a fresh spring. Why?
Because a classic is more than a product. It’s more than utility: it’s history, a family member, a beloved friend, a constant. It stands for continuity in times of change and for trust in times of uncertainty. Our affection for classics is emotional. Hard to explain logically. Each time we see one, we feel warmth, familiarity, and confidence. Feelings that matter more and more as change and innovation move so fast that we barely register the phases, generations, and models. Inevitably we surround ourselves with things that subtly signal uncertainty.
That’s why objects radiating stability, continuity, and familiarity enjoy a renaissance. The vinyl revival is hardly about technology—nor is the appeal of a 1970s racing bike or a Braun Audio 310 from 1960. We need such things to orient, soothe, and steady ourselves emotionally. Hence the Bialetti. Few products embody this truth as strongly. Just seeing it is calming. It may not brew the single “best” coffee, but it evokes the loveliest feelings. And in our times, that’s worth a lot.

Keynography Art
Keynography Art is a new digital art form founded by Christof Hintze, with no AI being used or applied, created in Apple Keynote—originally a presentation program. Through the precise interplay of complex stencils, masks, lines, and many layers and shadows, shapes, depth, and spatial effects are built up—like a collage, but entirely digital. The result feels like a graphic relief: clean, detailed, and surprisingly three-dimensional, even though it is made from simple Keynote elements. More about it in my bio…
