REFLECTION

From the depths of blue, bright squares rise like points of light mirrored on a still surface “REFLECTION” is a play of rhythm and perspective. The shapes grow from small to large, cluster together, and then fade back into space. It feels like a quiet thought sending out ripples, expanding and returning. A moment where the eye wanders and the mind listens inward, where every reflection becomes insight. “REFLECTION” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.

It is an eternal coming and going.

For this artwork, the emerging thought was the core idea. Doubt. The kind that slowly appears, moves into the foreground, and then fortunately disappears again when enough confidence can dispel it. It is like the beam of light moving across the walls of a room as a car passes by at night. Appearing out of nowhere until the thought becomes very present, only to dissolve back into nothingness. That is reflection. The arising, assembling, encountering, engaging with it, explaining it, and then dissolving again.
