911

The artwork “911” portrays the icon of sports-car design as a precise side view in cool blue tones. The flowing fastback silhouette, emphasized wheel arches, and characteristic Fuchs wheels evoke the air-cooled era of the Porsche 911 Carrera. On a calm ground, the crisp line drawing feels like frozen motion: tension without noise, elegance without show. “911” is both homage and distillate—a picture about speed, stance, and the timeless aura of a classic. “911” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.

Object of desire.

It’s crazy how such an object of desire carves out and holds its place in the subconscious. Even as a teenager, the 911 Carrera was the terminus of longing. Reason can’t explain it. This object radiates something that is truly rare. It defines a status. It’s surrounded by an aura that only very few such objects are granted. Even though you can’t fit two crates of water in it. Even though you can hardly drive fast anymore anyway. Yet everything about this car constantly reminds you of what it stands for. But only up to the 993, exactly up to the last series with an air-cooled flat engine. Right up to 1998. After that, the dream blurs. The feeling of desire dissolves like an aspirin in a glass of water. And that’s a good thing. There are things you can improve technically, but not emotionally.

The artwork ‘911’ appeals to a positive culture of memory. It stands for that positive culture of memory. With the old Porsche, you associate so many beautiful feelings that every time you see one, your pulse quickens. You can’t take your eyes off it. The artwork ‘911’ is available exclusively online via my art store on my website. For good reason, this piece hangs in no gallery, to keep the distance between artist and art lover as small as possible. We’re only an online form or an email apart. That feels very good.

Keynography Art

Keynography Art is a new digital art form founded by Christof Hintze, with no AI being used or applied, created in Apple Keynote—originally a presentation program. Through the precise interplay of complex stencils, masks, lines, and many layers and shadows, shapes, depth, and spatial effects are built up—like a collage, but entirely digital. The result feels like a graphic relief: clean, detailed, and surprisingly three-dimensional, even though it is made from simple Keynote elements. More about it in my bio…
