RIVER COURSE
“RIVER COURS” flowing, organic shapes in varying shades of blue and white sweep across the surface like an abstract river delta. Soft transitions and overlapping paths create spatial depth, evoking currents, waterways, and gentle motion. Light lines meander between darker areas, both connecting and dividing them. “RIVER COURS” captures the harmony of movement and stillness—a visual play of dynamism, lightness, and natural rhythm. “RIVER COURS” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.
Being in the flow.
In my younger years, so much consisted of conflict, confrontation, aggression, rebellion, resistance, and reaction. Every encounter had the potential to trigger one of these emotions. You constantly felt attacked, challenged, and provoked. This danger lurked in everything. To be exposed, humiliated, or put down. That’s what those times were like. Everything was a confrontation. You were always in competition or in a contest.
But over time you realise that all of this is nothing but wasted energy. Wrong priorities. Wanting to prove something to others instead of living up to yourself is unnecessary. And so a transformation began. One that gradually brought things into an imaginary flow. Into motion. So that things wouldn’t get stuck. Wouldn’t pile up. Everything should always be in motion, remain flexible. Even opinions and positions. Dogmatic views and attitudes dissolved. Tolerance and empathy spread. Because the insight that whatever you fight, you amplify, took hold more and more. The time of acceptance began. The time of change within me began – and the time of letting go.
The artwork “Flusslauf” refers to this process, which continues to this day. The artwork “Flusslauf” is also one of these positive memories: the moment I understood and learned to transform the negative into the positive. A kind of alchemy of feelings. A beautiful memory.
Keynography Art
Keynography Art is a new digital art form founded by Christof Hintze, with no AI being used or applied, created in Apple Keynote—originally a presentation program. Through the precise interplay of complex stencils, masks, lines, and many layers and shadows, shapes, depth, and spatial effects are built up—like a collage, but entirely digital. The result feels like a graphic relief: clean, detailed, and surprisingly three-dimensional, even though it is made from simple Keynote elements. More about it in my bio…
