BANKSY 1
“BANKSY 1” – This work reinterprets a world-famous street art motif. A masked figure, rendered in bold shades of blue, is captured in a powerful throwing motion – not with an aggressive object, but with a bouquet of blue flowers. The minimalist color palette and clean, flat design draw attention to the symbolism: confrontation is replaced by peace, provocation by poetry – a quiet call for change. “BANKSY 1” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.
The path is the path.
What’s impressive about Banksy is that he found a new way: to let art appear as art outside the classical art market. The idea actually sounds absurd when you tell itand not very promising. No gallerists. No collectors. No exhibitions. Making art without all the instruments of the art market. In fact, the truly absurd thing is the art market. You only realize this when you look at artists like him and JR. Art must be free. For art to be the concentrate of its time, it has to be free from constraints, preconceptions, positions, and opinions. Art that orients itself toward value, attention, approval, and prices of all kinds, is that art in the true sense of art? Art that wants to please. Art that wants to be sold.
Banksy reignited art’s original idea. He made art in public spaces accessible to everyone. No tickets. No one had to spend a fortune to hang it. And that’s where the idea should actually end. But not in our times. The approval for Banksy was simply too great for people not to find ways for the art market to monetize his works. But never mind, he showed that it’s possible: to make art in the true sense of art. An inspiration for everyone who is genuinely interested in art. Art that does its real work.

Keynography Art
Keynography Art is a new digital art form founded by Christof Hintze, with no AI being used or applied, created in Apple Keynote—originally a presentation program. Through the precise interplay of complex stencils, masks, lines, and many layers and shadows, shapes, depth, and spatial effects are built up—like a collage, but entirely digital. The result feels like a graphic relief: clean, detailed, and surprisingly three-dimensional, even though it is made from simple Keynote elements. More about it in my bio…
