HIGH TOP
“HIGH TOP” in rich blue with white accents, this minimalist depiction recalls the iconic high-top sneaker of the late 1970s. The crisp contour, bold stripes, and clean, unembellished form evoke memories of basketball courts, youth culture, and the dawn of the sneaker era as a lifestyle statement. “HIGH TOP” captures the essence of a design that transcended sport to become a timeless style icon. “HIGH TOP” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.
Walk this way.
Shoes have always carried a special significance. But in the ’80s the great era of sneakers began and it continues to this day. A shoe you can wear with anything. A statement. Because it depends on which sneaker you wear.
The sneaker becomes the trademark of a generation. To be the person you want to be seen and understood as, you have to wear the right sneaker. Punished is the one who, through parental ignorance, is forced to wear trainers with two stripes or five stripes. They might as well have put a T-shirt on the kid that said “Loser.” The contemptuous, dismissive incomprehension of many parents at the time has left its mark to this day. That’s why many in my generation have a “shoe obsession.”
Because you never want to end up in a situation where you have to wear the wrong ones again. But even this dream can be overcome once you become aware of it—and notice that life is less about the shoe and more about the person wearing it. And the right person can walk barefoot, too.

Keynography Art
Keynography Art is a new digital art form founded by Christof Hintze, with no AI being used or applied, created in Apple Keynote—originally a presentation program. Through the precise interplay of complex stencils, masks, lines, and many layers and shadows, shapes, depth, and spatial effects are built up—like a collage, but entirely digital. The result feels like a graphic relief: clean, detailed, and surprisingly three-dimensional, even though it is made from simple Keynote elements. More about it in my bio…
