JUNGLE

Layer upon layer of gently curved forms unfold in “JUNGLE” as a sea of blue tones, where each leaf feels like a breath. Transparent shapes overlap, creating depth and a quiet interplay of light and shadow. The lines evoke tropical foliage rustling in the wind without ever breaking the silence. A place where stillness and movement become one—leading the gaze into a blue, endlessly interwoven nature.“JUNGLE” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.

Habitats for Life’s Dreams.

Living together with nature is deeply fulfilling and healing. Nature provides many answers to the questions we often ask ourselves, about acceptance and letting go. Linked to a primal trust that you don’t let things drop, but return them to your own responsibility and that something new always follows. Nature demonstrates this in the cycle of the seasons. In nature we find everything that is missing and has gone astray, in our everyday lives. Nature not only nourishes us and gives us a habitat; it is also a teacher. To learn from nature means to learn what is essential for life. In nature there are countless behaviors, sequences, and processes that move us forward.

It is therefore remarkable how humans treat nature—and we are now experiencing the consequences. That’s why nature is so important to me. Because I can experience it day in, day out. Nature gives me so much more than consumption ever could. That’s why I try, as far as possible, to protect nature, to observe it, and to live in and with it. Nature is also a great model for art.
