LUKY

The art­work “LUKY” reimag­ines the comic char­ac­ter Lucky Luke as a pop icon in the style of Andy Warhol. In a 3×2 grid, the front-facing cowboy-hat, neck­er­chief, hol­ster, legs spread, hands open, appears as serial screen-print vari­a­tions in cool blues. Out­lines stay crisp, fields flat; slight shifts and shad­ing create rhythm and wit. Rep­e­ti­tion turns the hero into a brand: nos­tal­gia meets com­mod­i­ty aes­thet­ics, west­ern myth meets pop cul­ture, between pose, parody, and pre­cise graph­ic order. “LUKY” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.
