APPEARANCE
“APPEARANCE” explores the gentle emergence of form and color: eight rows of circular dots move from almost white to deep blue. Like breathing waves, tones condense line by line until color gains presence at the lower edge. The grid stays precise, yet each cell feels like a moment of becoming—between light, haze, and clarity. Minimalism as recollection: the visibility of intensity, calm, and time in blue. A quiet image that opens space and gathers the gaze. “APPEARANCE” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.

Diversity. Individuality. The artwork “APPEARANCE” arose from the effort to create something that, in a simple way, shows that difference is diversity. And if you place every difference side by side, it becomes clear that the difference is only superficial. In this case: the blue. They are all identical objects that are all very close to one another.
The second layer of the image describes the path: from unobtrusive to present, from invisible to unmissable, from light to dark. Everything begins small, quiet, unobtrusive, and over time, through development, experience, and trust, you can see the path until you have arrived. Development, processes, all are paths that sometimes lead to the goal.
