NAUTILUS presents the mythical spiral of the shell of the same name. A symbol of growth, harmony, and the mystery of nature. Abstracted in delicate shades of blue, the form unfolds with mathematical precision and poetic ease. It evokes the sea, the passage of time, and the principle of eternal return. Billions of Years to Perfection.
Art is hardly conceivable without observing nature. The greatest artist is nature itself—always has been, always will be. That’s why artists discover so much within it; it’s an endless source of inspiration. The nautilus—seen in cross-section—reveals an architectural marvel: precision, uniformity, a harmony like no other. I can’t get enough of this natural perfection.
Nautilus also stands for home—a habitat that has sheltered billions of living beings over billions of years. A creature that carries its house wherever it goes. When evolution isn’t interrupted, it produces forms of perfection that remind us how far we are from it—and how briefly we’ve been part of this grand process. When we truly face nature’s greatness, we learn humility and respect. The opposite happens when we reduce it to a mere supplier of our needs.

Keynography Art is a new digital art form founded by Christof Hintze, with no AI being used or applied, created in Apple Keynote—originally a presentation program. Through the precise interplay of complex stencils, masks, lines, and many layers and shadows, shapes, depth, and spatial effects are built up—like a collage, but entirely digital. The result feels like a graphic relief: clean, detailed, and surprisingly three-dimensional, even though it is made from simple Keynote elements. More about it in my bio…
