STEP

“STEP” fine, horizontal lines in deep blue stretch across the surface, interrupted by a diagonal sequence of angular steps. This geometric play of precision and rhythm creates a visual tension between stillness and movement. The uniform structure invites the eye to follow the line until it disappears into depth. A work that unites simplicity and complexity in harmonious balance. “STEP” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.

An obstacle is a step to a higher level.

An obstacle is a step. Once you overcome the obstacle, you move up one step. And along life’s path, you encounter the same obstacle again and again—but you view it from a higher level. That is the core idea of the artwork “Stufe” (“Step”). That’s how I have experienced life. You can also meet obstacles as steps toward your goal, because each step takes you further and higher.

Those who refuse to tackle obstacles remain at their level. Those who are afraid to face obstacles at all stay at their level. How often I’ve seen apprehension, the fear, in other people’s eyes because of an approaching obstacle. And in my nature I’ve anchored the conviction: if I master this obstacle as well, I’m one step further and one level higher.

Which brings me back to mentality. It sets our direction. We make all our decisions based on our mentality. Often these obstacles are not what you expect. Often they don’t feel like “overcoming” at all; rather, while you are already walking, already coping, the realization comes: It worked. It wasn’t that hard. On we go. The artwork “Stufe” can only be purchased via online sale on my website, the art store. Thus, there is virtually nothing between the artist and the art lover. Simply fill out the online form or send me an email. That’s it. I will then respond promptly with a detailed quote and a proposed delivery date. So: that shouldn’t pose a step.

Keynography Art

Keynography Art is a new digital art form founded by Christof Hintze, with no AI being used or applied, created in Apple Keynote—originally a presentation program. Through the precise interplay of complex stencils, masks, lines, and many layers and shadows, shapes, depth, and spatial effects are built up—like a collage, but entirely digital. The result feels like a graphic relief: clean, detailed, and surprisingly three-dimensional, even though it is made from simple Keynote elements. More about it in my bio…
