STONES
“STONES” Rendered in bold shades of blue, this work reinterprets the legendary “Tongue and Lips” logo of the Rolling Stones, created in 1970 by John Pasche and long since an emblem of rebellion, energy, and rock ’n’ roll. The iconic silhouette of open lips with an extended tongue is distilled to a minimalist form, with white areas defining the teeth and key highlights. An unmistakable band symbol transforms into a graphically pure art object, a homage to music history and timeless pop culture. “STONES” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.
