FLOYD

FLOYD is a minimalist homage to Pink Floyd’s iconic album cover: a single beam, a prism, a moment. The image distills an era when music, art, and attitude became one. It recalls the 1973 statement piece—not as a copy, but as a quiet quote that renders the power of sound and memory visible. Anchored in deep blue, FLOYD invites a pause to feel the pulse of time and revive personal memories. A visual echo for collectors and fans of rock history. A tribute to concept art and to light that endures. FLOYD is part of the art series “Blue in a Squar”, which includes 300+ artworks.

The Bright Side of the Music.

When you close your eyes and summon memories, certain images appear for certain themes. Think “records,” and The Dark Side of the Moon is one of those images, just like Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. It’s about more than music. Like Woodstock, this Pink Floyd album stands for an era; it’s a synonym that mirrors a time.

If you had to distill the ’70s into a limited set of objects, this cover would make the cut. Of course, it’s also a musical outlier, one of the greatest concept albums. Of course, of course, of course. But none of that fully explains its enduring impact on my generation. What that prism triggers in us runs deeper: it reflects the soul, the sound, the rhythm, the feeling of a generation. You don’t have to like Pink Floyd, but anyone who respects music respects this album, without hesitation. Because it’s more.

That’s why it’s part of my art series, it belongs to my generation’s positive culture of memory. It would be missing if it weren’t included. The artwork “Floyd” is online-only, available in square formats from 20 × 20 cm up to 120 × 120 cm. Just use the online order form or send me an email. You’ll receive a clear written quote with an estimated delivery date. I’d be delighted if it brings you joy.

Keynography Art

Keynography Art is a new digital art form founded by Christof Hintze, with no AI being used or applied, created in Apple Keynote—originally a presentation program. Through the precise interplay of complex stencils, masks, lines, and many layers and shadows, shapes, depth, and spatial effects are built up—like a collage, but entirely digital. The result feels like a graphic relief: clean, detailed, and surprisingly three-dimensional, even though it is made from simple Keynote elements. More about it in my bio…
