ALI
The artwork “ALI” depicts, in a faceted geometric style, the legendary 1964 moment when Muhammad Ali, after defeating Sonny Liston in Miami, won his first world heavyweight title. With clenched fist, fierce gaze, and a powerful stance, the figure radiates resolve, pride, and triumph. The angular, stylized design heightens the scene’s momentum and turns Ali into a symbol of strength, perseverance, and the unshakable will to make history. “ALI” is part of the art series “Blue in a Square”, which includes 300+ artworks.
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.
In the middle of the night my father woke me from deep sleep. I was ten years old. “It’s starting!” I knew instantly. I jumped out of bed and headed straight for the TV. On the way I could already hear the bell from the boxing ring, so I quickened my pace. My brothers were already there. And so, at 3:00 a.m., the four men of our family sat in front of the television: Ali vs. Frazier. Muhammad Ali stood for everything the free world could aspire to be. Over the years my view has only solidified: he truly is the greatest of all time. You don’t become the greatest because you win the most fights, but because you win the most people. Ali is an icon. And because my art draws on iconic subjects, the greatest human icon cannot be missing.
If you take Che Guevara, Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Sammy Davis Jr., Miles Davis, and Sidney Poitier, and combine them into one person, you get Muhammad Ali. He is the one who was—and is—beyond all doubt.
The artwork “ALI” shows him in 1964, winning his first title in Miami—the year I was born. To this day I love wearing T-shirts with his name on them. Nothing else. Just his name. It inspires me, gives me a great feeling, and brings me closer to his mindset. The artwork “ALI” is available exclusively in the Art Store. All you need to do is place an order via the online request form or by email. You’ll receive a tailored, detailed quote including a delivery date—exactly to your specifications. It’s that simple.
Keynography Art
Keynography Art is a new digital art form founded by Christof Hintze, with no AI being used or applied, created in Apple Keynote—originally a presentation program. Through the precise interplay of complex stencils, masks, lines, and many layers and shadows, shapes, depth, and spatial effects are built up—like a collage, but entirely digital. The result feels like a graphic relief: clean, detailed, and surprisingly three-dimensional, even though it is made from simple Keynote elements. More about it in my bio…
